Question regarding tile & grout cleaning, asked by Mark -
I was told that it was necessary to have as much as 1000 psi when cleaning tile and grout. What is your view?

Tile and grout, with the Rotovac 360i, can be cleaned at any pressure from 100 psi up to 1500 psi - we have found between 135 psi - 400 psi to be perfect. This is because the Rotovac 360i has a electric powered triple jetted scrubbing brush head to provide the agitation and doesn't rely on just a high pressure spray to remove soilage.
A 1000, 1200 etc psi pump is a big, heavy unit - and installing this in a portable carpet cleaning machine doesn't leave a lot of room for anything else, which normally means you only have one vacuum motor and possibly no heating system.
A much better system is to have an Enforcer or Ninja with a least a built-in immersion heater (to provide hot water) and either a 135 psi high flow-rate or a 400 psi pump and use the Rotovac 360i. This way you still have a powerful and more importantly, usable portable carpet cleaning machine.
With the Rotovac 360i, you have a floating vacuum ring to pick up your slurry - so you pre-spray, scrub agitate and rinse away the soilage in one quick and easy operation.
